Why charter from the Reel Hot rather than other charter boats?
We are only a 20 minute drive north of Myrtle Beach, where there a
great number of other fishing charter operators and charter boats,
all first class fishing charter providers like ourselves. We may not be as popular a fishing area as the tropics, but we do have a higher concentration of fish than other areas.
"Reel Hot" is a 34-foot Luhrs Sport Fish powered by 350hp Caterpillar diesel engines, which comfortably cruises at 21 knots. We have one of the fastest Charter boats based from the Little River which enables us
to reach our fishing grounds pretty quickly - this means more time fishing and less
time traveling...at the end of the day this can result in more fish caught!

From departure to return, our full day charters gives you a 9 hour fishing adventure
onboard "Reel Hot". Your day generally starts at 6.00am, departing from the
BW's Marina (See Map)
and returns to the same Marina at around 4:00pm the same day.
Charter includes:
- Charter from departure to return
- Use of rods and reels; bait supplied
- Tackle, traces, hooks, sinkers prepared according to your needs
- Fish cleaned
What you need to bring:
- Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, lip zinc
- Video and photo cameras to capture your catch and the view (which often includes dolphins)
- If experienced angler: you're welcome to bring your own gear
- Any snacks and beverages you'd like to eat/drink through the day
- Alcohol not included: BYOB
Deep Sea Reef and Game Fishing
"Reel Hot" can take you off shore, deep sea fishing around reefs and wrecks or Troll for game fish such as dolphin, Wahoo, tuna, bill fish and other exciting game fish.
Your charter includes bait and tackle - we'll show you how to use it
and how to catch fish for the beginners, plus we even clean your catch at the end of the day!
Captain Billy will also give you some great easy gourmet tips on how to prepare,
cook and serve your fish for a delicious seafood meal.
We are happy for you to keep your catch; however, we observe size and catch regulations
and also recognize conservation issues for those anglers who wish to simply catch and release their fish.
PRIVATE CHARTER
You can hire our boat for your own specific purpose.
For example, just you and or a small group may just want to target
Marlin and you want to head out to the Sailfish spots way out on the 50's
or you may want to charter the boat for private purposes.
We can even provide a Little River Cruise, a Little River Estuary
Fishing Excursion or a pleasure cruise up or down the Coast.
